recently heard you wanted to have an ice cream shop in robesonia. We already have a place that sells ice cream, milk shakes and sundaes. Along with candy. Have you forgotton. Why not promote our already established local business?

  2. Actually Helen I have no intentions to open an ice cream shop. Bad rumor or wrong info you got. DP Randler will be opening an ice cream parlor and Tony's has started selling soft ice cream. It's called competition. Very healthy for America and Robesonia. Not sure where this ice cream you refer to is sold but it obviously is not very popular or residents wouldn't have approached these business owners to open and sell ice cream. I am one of the biggest supporters of our local businesses. I work very hard and have had much success in the 7 years I have worked for them. I actually shop here and support them unlike so many others. It is vital to their survival.

  4. Lori's is hardly opened and many residents don't even know it exists. The ones that do voiced a number of their concerns to other business owners and they are looking to fill the missing link. Besides the new ice cream locations, watch for another local candy seller. With set hours and owners that are well liked these new businesses are sure to be a hit!

  5. Lori's was open 7 days a week all summer long, so she wasn't "hardly open." And she has been in business for more than ten years now I think. And, the Just About Sinful brand of ice cream lives up to its name!

  6. I guess all those observations came from people who just weren't there at the right times. I don't eat candy or ice cream. I have never heard of the Just about Sinful brand to compare it with anything. Happy eating...

  7. I had never heard of the Just About Sinful brand of ice cream either, but let me tell you, it is the best. I was wondering how Ash & Am can open a candy store with chocolate when Randler didn't put air conditioning in any of his shops? And as far as the owner's being well liked....he's scary! It's wonderful that DP has his supporters but I'm not one of them. I won't support ANY business that is renting from him. And that's unfortunate.

  8. I'm not sure where you got the information about Ash & Am opening at Randler's. All of Randler's shops are rented. You're right it is unfortunate that you will not support businesses in the Randler Shoppes. You are missing out on meeting some truly talented kind and giving tradesmen in Robesonia. Have you ever met Dave? Had dinner with him and his wife? Met his son? They are wonderful people and hopefully you are not judging him on negative things other people say. I live with that all the time and it is a shame because most people that talk bad about me never met me, my family or know anything about me except for rumors or my opinions. That is what is wrong with the world today.

  9. I must have been given wrong information. I was told Bountiful Harvest went out at Randler's. But I still don't know how a chocolate and ice cream shop can go in without air conditioning. Yes, I have met Dave. Nope, didn't have dinner with him, although I was at a restaurant at the same time he was there with his family and was appalled at his son's table manners. You say about people talking bad about you. Isn't that what you do best? They are your opinions so why not just keep them to yourself. I will mine from now on.

  10. Villa Hair Studio is going in where Bountiful Harvest was. All the shops have air conditioning but because you don't go there you wouldn't know that. You really do get bad info. There never was a candy/ice cream store going into the Bountiful Harvest. Randler is planning an ice cream shop, Robesonia location not yet determined. I don't mostly talk bad about people just those that earn it. My work is encouraging support of others it is what made my newsletter so popular. I base all opinions on facts as I know them. Opinions are just that. We are all entitled to voice them.
