The figures are more horrific than we imagined. According to the report, in 2015 there were over 3.4 Million children, both "victims" and "non victims" seized nationally and placed in foster care. The actual figure is closer to 4 million as 3 large states didn't report.
4 MILLION CHILDREN in out of home placement in 2015!!!!!!
Of those 3.4 million children seized, less than 10% had any court activity or legal representation.
Average days after seizure to initiation of services ranged up to 121 days.
