Dear President Donald J. Trump
This is our second letter asking for executive action to put a stop to the adoption bonus
money allowed under the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997. This legislation
spearheaded by Bill and Hillary Clinton is designed to give the state’s a bonus check for
each child they rehome through foster care and adoption.
This funding scheme amounts to government sanctioned child trafficking and a crime
against humanity.
The Title IVE funding scheme has shifted the child welfare paradigm from rehabilitating
families to removing children and adopting them into the homes of strangers. This
social engineering plan is already a disaster and hundreds of thousands of families have
been destroyed. Our federal representatives will not listen to us because they are
heavily invested in the adoption and child welfare system. The privatization of the
foster care system has made children the commodity and as a business man you know
that this means that children MUST stay in the system for the money to continue to
flow.
We are a grassroots organization growing through social media and are reaching 5,000
members quickly. The families and children that have been hurt number in the millions.
On any given day, 500,000 children are in foster care.
We can barely remember the extermination of the Jews under Nazi Germany, but
someday our history books will find that the rehoming of children has become the
norm instead of the exception. Just imagine if each child is worth $80,000 per year to
an industry thirsting for more children to ring their register.
I have seen this system collapse over the last twenty years of practicing law. You can
follow the stories of hurting families on Family Forward Project (on Facebook) or the
nearly 60 other Facebook groups and pages begging for advice on how to get their
children home.
Certainly, we will never deny that child abuse is real and a travesty in our nation, but not
every child taken has been abused. In fact, the statistics show that 85% of these
children are removed under circumstances deemed as neglect.
• A mother with high functioning autism lost her seven children after caring for
them for ten years because she missed one doctor’s appointment.
• A mother of a preemie that suffered from infantile rickets causing brittle bones is
charged criminally with child abuse and accused of crushing her child.
• A young father who never harmed his child is denied the right to be a father
because he is poor.
• Relatives seek to support young parents but the state denies placement because
the state would lose too much money to transfer the child to another state.
• A Mother who gets arrested for public intoxication inside her own home just so
the social worker can take her children and put them in foster care.
• A Father who suffers from Hepatitis C and finds remission of his disease with
medical cannabis but loses his children because he has a high THC count.
The adoption bonus money MUST BE STOPPED NOW. You can do this with an
executive order finding that the payment of a “finder’s fee” to the states by the Federal
Government is nothing more than putting a price tag on the head of a child. You can
ban this payment and give parents a fighting chance. This will not fix the problems of
the corrupt child welfare industry, but it will demonstrate that the parents still have a
voice and will encourage a discussion to promote change.
